Biography

Kuranananda Pemasiri is a citizen of Sri Lanka. He received his undergraduate degree in 2004 from the University of Peradenniya in Sri Lanka. He worked as Teaching Assistant for two years in University of Peradeniya before coming to the USA for Graduate Studies. He began his PhD work at the University of Cincinnati in September 2006 and joined the Nano Materials Physics Group in March 2008.

 

Research Interests

Photolumenescence & photo-current spectroscopy study on semiconductor nanowire heterostructures.

 

Education

B.Sc. Special Degree in Physics (First class Honors), University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka 2004.

Phd Student in Physics at University of Cincinnati since 2006.
