Biography

 

Parveen Kumar hails from India. He graduated with a Master of Technology in Materials Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India in 2006. Before beginning his PhD work in the Department of Physics at the University of Cincinnati in fall 2006, he was a Senior Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India . He joined the group in the Spring of 2008.

 

Research Interests

 

Parveen Kumar is interested in optical spectroscopy and transport properties of semiconductor nanowires, nanosheets, and nanostructures. His long term goal is to work in research and development of semiconductor and electronic devices for industry, or at a research institution.
